Profile of Dr. Harish Karnick
Dr. Harish Chandra Karnick is a Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur since1995. He recieved his Ph.D in Artificial Intelligence and M.Tech in Transport Theory from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in the years 1985, 1977 respectively. He did his B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in the year 1974. His areas of interest are Cognitive Science, Machine Learning and Knowledge Discovery, Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence and Object Oriented Systems. Dr. Harish has supervised three Ph.D students and several Master's students and has over two dozen publications in several journals and conferences.
